ACCREDITED MEMBER – American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry

Dr. Rena Vakay is only the female dentist, and one of only three dentists total, in the state of Virginia to be accredited by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD)

To reach accredited status dentists must demonstrate an extremely high proficiency in reconstructive and cosmeticdentistry. A number of peer reviewed clinical cases must be presented as well as a written exam taken and passed. As of February 2006, only three dentists had successfully achieved accredited status for the entire state of Virginia.
